I had the pleasure of contributing a workshop to the latest edition of ImagineFX. The current issue description can be found here.
Here's the piece I created specifically for the workshop themed "Fantasy with a Twist" where I hybridized a mermaid and a medusa navigating through a field of naval mines.

Creating the workshop was a truly rewarding experience. The art brief was open ended and their staff was attentive and helpful with any questions I had in developing my article.I also included a recording of my sketch and color techniques on the DVD. Check it out, if you get a chance.
